Beer is the world's most widely consumed alcoholic beverage; it is the third-most popular drink overall, after water and tea. It is thought by some to be the oldest fermented beverage. Beer is produced by the saccharification of starch and fermentation of the resulting sugar. The starch and saccharification enzymes are often derived from malted cereal grains, most commonly malted barley and malted wheat. Unmalted maize and rice are widely used adjuncts to lighten the flavor because of their lower cost. The preparation of beer is called brewing. Most beer is flavoured with hops, which add bitterness and act as a natural preservative, though other flavourings such as herbs or fruit may occasionally be included. To me beer is a stress taker, it makes me relax despite of all things that I have done in a busy day. There are many kinds of beer, I'm going to mention the local beers in the Philippines. These beers are San Miguel Pale Pilsen, Redhorse, San Miguel Light, San Miguel extra Strong, Beer na beer, and Gold Eagle beer. To me the beer for the older part of the market is on the San Miguel Pale Pilsen, the middle aged group are on Redhorse,and San Miguel extra strong because it pack more punch than other local beers and and to the ladies in this age group tends to drink San Miguel light because its light on the stomach and doesn't gives them a beer belly, so these suits the middle aged people, and lastly the beer for those who are are hard working and who are indigent drinks Beer na beer or Gold Eagle beer because its with in there budget reach. So go and drink a beer, have fun and a stress free life.
