McDonald's Big Mac Vs Jollibee Champ

Big Mac

The Big Mac was created by Jim Delligatti, one of Ray Kroc's earliest franchisees, who was operating several restaurants in the Pittsburgh area. The Big Mac was invented in the kitchen of Delligatti's first McDonald's franchise which was located on McKnight Road in Ross Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. The Big Mac first debuted at Delligatti's Uniontown, Pennsylvania restaurant in 1967 at a selling price of 45 cents. It was designed to compete with a similar Big Boy sandwich. The sandwich was so popular that it was added to the menu of all U.S. restaurants in 1968. One of its most distinctive features is a middle slice of bread ("club" layer) used to stabilize contents and prevent spillage. The Big Mac is known worldwide and is often used as a symbol of American capitalism. The Economist has used it as a reference point for comparing the cost of living in different countries — the Big Mac Index — as it is so widely available and is comparable across markets.

Nutritional values
In the United States, the Big Mac has 540 kcal (2,340 kJ), 29 grams of fat and 25 grams of protein. In Australia, the burger is slightly smaller with 493 kcal (2,060 kJ) and 26.9 grams of fat, but similar amounts of protein with 25.1 grams, while the Mexican burger tops out the scales at 600 kcal and 33 grams of fat.

Champ
Jollibee foods, a Philippine famous food chain store, has just launched a new item in their menu. It is a 1/3 pound sandwich, called Jollibee Champ. There used to be a JollibeeChamp burger before, but they bring it back and this time, it is heavier, meatier, and yummier.I am definitely a Jollibee fan, and their new Jollibee Champ burger is yet another reason for me to visit and buy some. A little under $3 dollar, one piece might be pricey, but you’ll definitely feel full when you consume one and a drink. It is best meal for someone active and need lot of energy to fill an active work in the office after lunch. The beef patty is tastier and juicier, thicker and heavier. I also like the lettuce and tomatoes. I would love additional pickle, but it isn’t present on this Champ. The dressing is also richer compared to regular Jolly burgers, same as the buns being used, maybe twice as large as the regular buns used by Jollibee. And definitely this meal is on top of my picks, second to other burger, Amazing Aloha. Unlike Aloha, Champ only have a single patty instead of double, but the latter has more beefy taste, and worth the extra money.

  3. i think, CHAMP is more of a SIZE,but champ's patty more weight/less protein, big mac's a little less weight/more protein. For me, taste wise mcdo's patty tastes much natural beefy taste, jollibee's were like they put something.. i don't know?..
